What's Actually Involved
Most people pick up their new EV and head straight home — then realise the standard three-pin lead that came with the car will take 30+ hours to charge. That's fine for the occasional top-up, but it's not practical for day-to-day life.
A dedicated home charger — installed properly by a licensed electrician — charges your car fully overnight, every night. You wake up to a full battery every morning. It's the way the car was designed to be used, and it makes owning an EV genuinely straightforward rather than something you're constantly managing.
